  8. In the year of '87, I had my first taste of science fiction/fantasy convention life.  I was amazed at the 
  9. artwork and soon found Gail Butler to ehlp me begin my journey into the world of art.  I joined the 
  10. convention art show crews and in almost no time was running the shows.  It was a terrific way to meet 
  11. other artists and share ideas.

  13. I began doing my own art and sent in three illustrations to, of all things, a garage company.  Then I sent 
  14. art to a convention which needed three pictures for their invitations.  Then Prism Games accepted my art 
  15. for one of their games, which will be in the stores in late 1996.  Laird Smith Gallery sponsored a month-
  16. long showing of fantasy art, which included some of my work and that of some of my friends.  And I have 
  17. been chosen to be the Artist Guest of Honor at Seattle's Rustycon in January, 1997.

  19. My goals are to create a realistic style and still be able to do surrealism when needed.
